Our Wine Cellar, its history, and how you can help

SommFoundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that was founded in 2003 by the extraordinary donation of private wine collection by Jeff and Kathy Johnston. Because of this generosity and genuine belief in the positive impact that access to wine and education can have on an individual's life and career trajectory, SommFoundation has been able to help thousands of studying wine professionals and award over one million dollars in scholarships. 

Over 20 years later, we are now seeking renewed wine donations from private cellars, wineries, importers, and distributors. These wines are used for flagship educational events, such as the Rudd Round Table and Somm Camp. Through these donations, we are able to offer the opportunity to taste wines that are otherwise inaccessible, but knowledge of which is required for all top-level certifications.
